Here we go...

     Hey, I'm Kelly, a high school student who has enjoyed traveling from a very young age.  I am very organized and always plan way ahead because I think it is important to be prepared.  In my blog, I'll share tips that I've used while traveling and some of my favorite places that I've been and new ideas for fun, quick trips when on a budget and in a time crunch.  In my blog I hope to provide useful tips for people of all ages who enjoy traveling or are just starting too and would love your support.      

    I live in Sonoma County with my mom, dad, brother, and dog, Sandy who are always taking me on new adventures and I have found that there is so much to do anywhere you go.  I also play soccer, and sometimes on the weekends I have tournaments and get around my home-state, California that way. Just this summer, I went to Humbolt and visited it's amazing beaches, as shown in the photo above.  It's always fun to find new roadside stops and try local restaurants when out and about.  I'm all about supporting local mom and pop shops.  

    The coolest place I've ever been is Costa Rica.  It was super  fun, especially because I speak fluent Spanish and was able to communicate with the locals.  Being spontaneous is often a risk that really pays off.
